Braxton "Brax" Barden

Braxton grew up canoeing in the Piedmont region of Georgia, where he could often be found camping and canoeing all around the state. After graduating high school with a desire to see the world, he joined the world’s greatest Navy and spent the next twenty years sailing from the Northern Pacific to the Arabian Gulf. He has hiked extensively throughout Japan to include Mt Fuji and Asahidake on the island of Hokkaido. Additionally, he has two Missouri River 340 races under his belt and has kayaked the mangrove swamps of Singapore.

Some of Braxton’s best attributes as a guide are his patience, his ability to instruct, and most importantly a love for the outdoors. He displays outstanding attention to detail, a safety first mentality and is a steadfast worker. You can rest assured that he will do everything in his power to make sure that you have a memorable and successful experience
