Quapaw Christmas Party
Tonight! Tues Dec 17th 5pm
Dear Friends, Family and Fellow River Rats: We are having our annual Christmas party tonight (Tues Dec 17th 5pm) which just so happens to fall on the night of the Winter Solstice Full Moon. Solstice is Saturday Dec 21st, but this is the closest full moon to the shortest day of the year -- and so we are going to celebrate accordingly! We also have an special send-off to make. (Sorry about the late notice.... river time as usual...)
Please come join us if you can on the banks of the Sunflower River for a bonfire, live Clarksdale blues, a special recognition ceremony, oysters fresh in the shell from Apalachicola Bay, river gumbo, and good cheer with all of us Mighty Quapaws. RSVP not needed, just come on. Many blessings to you and yours.
