(in the Mississippi State Tax Code)

Dear Friend:

Our future and the future of Nature Tourism along the Lower Mississippi River is at stake.

We're asking the Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant and the Mississippi Legislature to recognize and adopt the 2002 National Maritime Transportation Security Act into the Mississippi State Tax Code for exemption of taxes on river guiding companies.

Will you take 30 seconds of your day and help us by signing this petition?

BTW: If you’re not from Mississippi, be sure to mention your experience on the Mississippi River with a river guiding company (such as Quapaw), or your intentions to do so in the future. We’re promoting this campaign as a campaign for nature tourism. A healthy nature tourism industry depends on good people like yourselves.

Canoe-Canoe! Paddle's Up! Thank you from all of us Mighty Quapaws!
