Celebration Update:
Beautiful evening in the making for our celebration in downtwn Clarksdale, Mississippi at Quapaw Canoe Company. Come at 6pm if you can -- but dress warm. Clear and cool. We'll see some stars tonight! We'll keep the fire burning. Low of 46, gentle breeze out of the south. Our neighbors from Jerry's Dreamboat have set up their portable BBQ and Tamales stand and have Yalobusha Beer on tap, and others. Super Chikan will soon be here to set up. The songbirds are filling the sky with fresh music ands the first tender buds of spring are emerging. Not far off in the distance over the levee, the river is rising, and paddlers this weekend at Bluz Cruz will be enjoying the added speed and thrill of rising waters.

And many, many others who helped out, who signed petitions, sent prayers, and supported us during this struggle. We have lots to celebrate in this long journey! This is also our final fundraising effort.
