The Mississippi River Watershed - the area drained by the river and its tributaries - covers an area of nearly 1.2 million square miles including all of Tennessee and Arkansas, portions of Louisiana and Mississippi, and several other states. Protecting and restoring this vital watershed is important to everyone in this area!
