Three days, two nights camp on secluded island, 27 miles of downstream paddling. We’ll meet in Clarksdale between 10:00 and 11:00 am Friday, and return around 5:00 pm Sunday. No previous experience necessary.
Two day, one night option. If you have to work on Friday but would like to join us Saturday and Sunday. You’ll meet in Clarksdale at 8:00am Saturday and join us for lunch on the island.
Restore your connection to nature with three days of sandbar yoga led by certified Anusara teacher Scotta Brady on a remote uninhabited Mississippi River island. Greet each day with sunrise over the main channel of the Mississippi as you are guided in meditation byAnusara Inspired teacher and Kriya Yogi Conner Burnham.
Mid-day exploration and paddling to nearby back channels and secret waterways into jungle-bound oxbow lakes, with miles of sandbars and river beaches to explore.
The terrain is great for driftwood hunting, found objects, journaling, photography, painting and drawing!
At night time the crickets and owls sing you to sleep. At first light, terns and other shore birds will be your reveille. You’ll experience unparalleled relaxation and serenity as you leave behind worldly concerns and embrace the endless waters of the lower Mississippi River and the infinite sky. $330 (2 days, 1 night) For those of you who have to work on Friday, but would like to join us Saturday and Sunday.
