Description
Quapaw Canoe Company is providing bathrooms and showers for Juke Joint Festival campers! First come, first served until campsite is full. Location is along banks of Sunflower River behind our facility at 3rd & Sunflower in downtown Clarksdale. Overflow location across the River at Soldier’s field. Bathroom and shower access included. Bring your own tent and sleeping bags.
Camping areas for Juke Joint 2023 and beyond:
Grassy areas of City Park to north of ramp.
Any flat grassy places down along the river. (Don’t block access to Canoe Company.)
On street level near Sunflower and 3rd St.
Across Sunflower River at Soldier’s Field.
Your reservation guarantees you a spot, but not which spot. First come, first served.
Campsite Rules
Please follow these rules once you arrive at the campsite:
- When arriving at the campsite, please come to our base, located at 291 Sunflower Ave to check in. Quapaw Canoe Company will be open from 9am – 5pm on Juke Joint days.
We will mark you as arrived, and get you set up with your campsite if needed.
- Fires: No open fires, but camp stoves, hibachis, or small personal-sized BBQ okay.
- No smoking (city ordinance in public places).
- Tents only, or small pop-ups (max 15’ length). No room for RVs here.
- Electric plug-ins are available for charging cell-phones and personal devices, and are shared among all campers.
- No sort of electric hookup for any type of RV or Camper available. Please be considerate.
- Each camper must use the provided trash cans and dumpsters throughout their stay, and clean up all their trash before leaving.
- Don’t park on asphalt drive, which the police use for access.
- If the campground is full, you cannot book a campsite.
Available dates
Wednesday through Sunday of Juke Joint weekend. Sunday is last night campsites are open. Campground shuts down on the Monday after Juke Joint, except by special arrangement.
Pricing
$25/tent or vehicle/night for 2 people, $10 each additional person/night.
